In compliance with the current Schengen regulations, starting from June 16th, the Maritime Border Police Office of Livorno will issue shore passes exclusively to non-EU seafarers, limiting their use to daytime hours only and requiring them to spend the night on board the vessel on which they are officially embarked. This latter restriction applies to seafarers who are subject to the Schengen Visa requirement and do not possess a valid visa.
Since shipping agencies are required to provide an updated crew list clearly indicating non-EU nationalities, we kindly ask you to take this provision into account and contact us in due time for the completion of the necessary procedures.
